Uni.Asia Life Assurance Berhad (UAL) has been very prompt in sponsoring many of the school-based activities for the last 3 years. MGSKL is adopted by UniAsia Life Assurance Bhd and this is in line with the programme to adopt a school initiated by Bank Negara and the Education Ministry of Malaysia.
Contributions / Activities held by UAL to the school Year 2007 1. Talk on Savings to students in Form 1 & 2 2. Essay Writing competition on " The Importance of Saving for The Future". UAL has contributed certificates, cheques (RM 600.00) and souvenirs to the school. 3. Prize-Giving to students on Savings. Year 2008 1. Launched the competition on Savings using the guide book "Buku Wang Saku" to Form 1 & 2 students 2. Essay writing competition for Form 5 & 6 students. 3. Excursions / Outings / Field Day by Form 4s and Lower Six Students. 4. Workshop on "The Technique on How to Answer Exam Questions" on the following subjects: i) Economy ii) Business Studies iii) Mathematics iv) Commerce v) Principle of Accounts vi) Additional Mathematics UAL sponsored the workshop which cost RM 1950.00 5. Sponsored the Visit to Dark Cave, Batu Caves, K.L. held by Tourism Club of the school. Year 2009 1. Launched the competition on Savings using the guide book "Buku Wang Saku" to Form 1 & 2 students 2. Sponsored Visit To Melaka held by Uniform Unit (Girl Guides & Rangers of MGSKL) 3. Sponsored Visit to Rumah Perlindungan Rahoma, Taman Melati by the Kadet Remaja Sekolah (KRS) 4. Launched the competition on Scrap Book title "The Role of Money in the Society". 5. Launched the Essay Writing (in English) to the students. Cash prizes were awarded to the winners. 6.
